Great Place to Work®, in evaluating the ranking, also considered the special programs offered to employees, such as the creation of a sports area and a relaxation room, to create a relaxing and sharing space, the stipulation of an accident policy and a supplementary health policy that can be extended to the family.
Furthermore, to help them reconcile work and private life, Difa Cooper has reduced working hours on Fridays, offered co-financing of 50% of the nursery costs and launched a project that guarantees a bi-annual check-up, the intervention of a nutritionist and suggestions for the care of the skin and its pathologies.
Finally, there are numerous initiatives on the subject of social responsibility that have influenced Difa Cooper to become one of the Best Work Places Italy 2017: given the company workforce made up of 71% women, particular attention has been paid to health and prevention , leading the company to actively support the Bollini Rosa project of the National Women’s Health Observatory (Onda), and to support the non-profit association “La Forza e il Smile”, which helps women affected by cancer to improve their appearance and psychophysical well-being.
