Solutions for acne in adult women.

The innovative Chelisin® technology, a triad of short-chain amino acid peptides, helps to improves acne tarda skin manifestations (inflammatory and non-inflammatory) in adlut women. Acne tarda is defined as acne that de­velops or continues after 25 years of age. Acne in adult women has different pathological characteristics in comparison with acne vulgaris in the young. Specific long-term treatment over years may be required. The etiology of acne tarda is still controversial, as cosmetics, drugs, smoking, stress, diet, and endo­crine abnormalities have been implicated. It seems that nicotine can modify the capacity of aggregation of the surface cells of the skin and alter the composition of sebum.
