Cantabria Labs Receives MIT Recognition for Involvement and Support of “Campaign for a Better World”

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a US university of international prestige in the field of R&D, has recognized the Spanish pharmaceutical company Cantabria Labs for its outstanding contribution and support to the MIT campaign “Campaign for a Better World” .

Cantabria Labs received recognition for its involvement in the global MIT Campaign for a Better World campaign, which was created in order to raise funds to improve MIT’s infrastructure and resources and strengthen the prestige this institution already possesses as a center of excellence in education, research and innovation. It is an acknowledgment of the work of Cantabria Labs that enables talented MIT students to find innovative and specific solutions to health-related challenges.

Juan Matji, president of Cantabria Labs, received the award on behalf of the company which was presented in the pharmaceutical company’s Madrid offices by Marco Muñoz, Strategic Initiatives Director, and Julie A. Lucas, Vice-President for Resource Development of MIT.

We are very proud to have received this recognition from MIT, which for us represents a reference for projects that change and will change people’s future and quality of life,” explains Juan Matji, president of Cantabria Labs.

This recognition also allowed Cantabria Labs to join The MIT 77 Society program, made up of a group of special donors committed to the campaign, MIT’s goals and its mission of service to humanity.

Cantabria Labs, through its endorsement and sponsorship of Open Innovation, has embraced and promoted the biomedical innovation activities and programs of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) since the year 2017 considering the field of biomedicine as an important part of research future in various fields of medicine.
